Why we need action research

Teachers are the frontliners in our field. If I want to find out what it’s like to teach English in a particular country, such as Vietnam, I don’t want to read a book. I want to talk to teachers who are working or have worked there. They know what’s going on in the schools, in the classrooms. That’s why action research is so important; it gives teachers an opportunity to share what’s going in their classrooms and impart their firsthand, practical wisdom regarding effective instruction. TESOL Solutions can provide you with the knowledge and skills to conduct research that will contribute positively to your continuing professional development and increase knowledge of effective English-language teaching among teachers worldwide.
